We wanted to knock everyone in Veecon out of the water because we knew how many brands and founders are there, that are building with us the Web3 space. We decided to give them a letter that will invite them to get early access to the beta release of the platform (Q1 2023), and 400$ in ads credit preloaded so they can spend it as they wish to promote their brand in our system.
We got so much interest and engagement from the Veefriends community. I think that this community is the real deal in terms of people, those people are very positive and it was a pleasure that we in Web3m could bring them value and help them develop the web3 landscape.
The campaign settings:
Target Audience: Founders and Entrepreneurs in the web3 space, Innovators, and Early adopters.
Call to action: 400$ in ad-credit in Web3m platform
We gave people the following letter by hand:
Scored our first clients and secured a very nice volume of advertisers within the Web3m platform. We are very happy about that and feel like that’s a big win for everyone.
In addition to that:
The journey of pivoting my company into a Web3 company has been incredibly rewarding. I am grateful for traveling the world and meeting many people. Still, I want to share one important thing I learned in the past 3 months. It doesn’t matter if you are a tech billionaire or a web3 startup founder, every successful business has around 40% of its funds allocated for marketing.
Now the biggest problem in the space right now is that everyone builds and creates, but no one has a good way to promote themselves. The only way everyone uses is overpaid influencer marketing and overrated pr articles. which narrows the number of companies who can advertise very much. but that’s not even the biggest concern, the biggest concern is the scaling, you cant scale those kinds of ads and they wear out pretty fast. Its also important to note that you cant promote on Facebook, Google, Twitter, or any other known ad network that has the potential target audience because they are not allowing that.
Of course, you may think that it’s an obvious thing, but the mindset of web3 is not exactly compatible with the existing advertising industry and this is the biggest barrier for ad-tech startups to get into the space. On one side, you want to collect as much information as you can in order to target your audience, on the other side crypto is all about privacy and getting the power back to the user, so it will hurt the web3 brands when their users will feel like their privacy is taken away from them on behalf of monetization.
We believe that the thing we cracked in Web3m is how to build the marketing infrastructure of the future without compromising the values of Web3 founders. Learn more about what we are doing on our website or our discord.
